"The luggage itself meets our needs for Intl carryon requirements. The only issue we have had is with the flaps that secure the contents. One of the pockets where the straps/buckles slide through has already frayed where the strap enters the slot. The occurred while trying out the bag while still new and never used on an actual trip. Due to time constraints, it was not worth sending back for replacement, though I would love to have it repaired or replaced."

"Really like the size . Perfect for carry-on. You need to learn how to pack a bag that stackes the contents. And of course, the Eagle creek large wheels. They handle all types of terrain easily."

"When the handle on my 10 year old Tarmac 20 stopped working I took advantage of the warranty offer for repair. However, due to a problem getting a new handle after 12 weeks Eagle Creek replaced my international size carryon. I appreciate that greatly BUT, other than appearing as sturdy as my former Tarmac this bag is a real step down. The exterior is no where near as attractive as my previous model which always felt appropriate for business trips. There is no longer a large outside pocket, having been replaced by a computer sleeve inside. This is totally useless when flying on smaller planes that require gate checking! This is not a suitcase with two sides. It has one side covered by a zippered flap which does not fully open -- the zippered flap covers a portion of the interior, making it hard to pack into that space. I just finished packing for a trip that I take annually, always taking the same amount and where everything fit in the past, I cannot get everything into this suitcase. Same items and clearly less space in the new version! I appreciate the sturdiness of Eagle Creek luggage and that they replaced my suitcase but sadly, I will be looking for an international size carry on elsewhere."
"Just back from 2 week trip. Black interior makes it hard to see. Haven’t found a use for the compression straps. I liked my old eagle creek bag that had a large exterior zippered space and orange interior. New one only has a small pocket. Will probably get used to the features of the new bag as I use it more. Seems sturdy enough."
